Hi there! I’m Sue Gibbins, a surface pattern designer based in the beautiful countryside of northwest England. Nature has always been a huge source of inspiration for me, and my studio name, Rocket & Indigo, was born out of a fascination with plants. My style is whimsical yet refined, often containing botanicals, birds, and celestial details like stars.
I love designing playful prints for the young at heart, which have featured on a variety of products, including children’s clothing, accessories, kitchenware, home décor, and quilting collections for clients such as Cloud9 Fabrics. Over the last few years my interest in designing for interiors has grown, and I now also create prints for wallpaper and soft furnishings.
