Hi! I’m Anette Heiberg, a surface designer and illustrator living on a small island in Norway.
I’ve created art for clients all over the world for over 20 years. I started as a children’s book illustrator and author, but now my focus is licensing my patterns and designs to companies in the home decor market. I help clients create beautiful products that spread joy to people every day.
My inspiration comes from my passion for bright colors and graphic shapes, and the beautiful nature surrounding my home. I fill my sketchbook with ideas from my daily walks, later transforming them into digital designs, mostly patterns.
My style is a mix of Scandinavian minimalism and whimsical playfulness.
When I’m not creating or out walking, I’m likely lost in a book or busy playing video games with my son.
