Hello! I’m Jayme Murray, a graphic and surface pattern designer from the greater Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. With more than 20 years of design experience ranging from editorial to surface design, I bring a blend of creative storytelling, clever details, and a hint of whimsy to all of my work. My surface design collections include flora, fauna, and graphic elements that work together to tell a narrative. I am inspired by nature, travel, heirlooms, and the stories they tell.
I often begin with pen and ink creating detailed layers that become seamless patterns. I’m proud to have my artwork licensed on quilting fabric and look forward to expanding my licensing repertoire. In addition to my own designs, I work full time as a design lead at a Philadelphia-based textile company creating and marketing to-the-trade textiles offered in showrooms all over the world.
