Nele Brönneris a Berlin-based author, illustrator, and comic artist.
She likes strong contrasts, riso printing, black ink, and drawings inhabited by strange beings.
Her children’s book debut was honored with the Serafina Prize for Children’s Literature 2015. In 2019 she was awarded the Gold Medal of The Best German Book Design 2019 by Stiftung Buchkunst.
Nele Brönner received the Berlin Comics Grant 2020. Her book FROG WANTS TOO was awarded with the Troisdorfer Picturbook Price 2021 for best illustration.
SUPERGLITTER her current work and first comic for children won the Austrian Children’s and Youth Book Prize 2023.
