Hi, my name is Ellis Tolsma. I have my own illustration studio in the Netherlands. Here I set up Studio Misprint, a risoprint studio that is about learning to embrace mistakes and incorporate the mistakes into your style.
My creative process is rooted in playfulness and exploration, often leading to unexpected results. I make a lot of risograph works, a lot of prints, cards and stickers. I make very colorful and bold geometric work, with a little bit of a retro vibe to it. I love working with themes about identity, love, children, space, technology, and nature. The work I make (and would like to make) is quite diverse, I love illustrating but also animating and printing.
