Hi, I’m Lahni Barrass, a Surface Pattern Designer and Illustrator based in Melbourne, Australia, and the face behind Softly Studio. I’m all about making everyday objects more beautiful through Surface Pattern Design and Illustration.
Back in my school days, I was that artsy kid who just loved to draw, make, and create beautiful things. Fast forward to today, and my passion is stronger than ever. Design is like a sixth sense to me.
My style gracefully intertwines vibrant and imaginative energy with a soothing, gentle touch. I’m inspired by nature, and you’ll always find my work bursting with beautiful florals.
As a graduate of Textile Design School, with over 15 years of industry experience I’m well-versed in printing processes and tailoring designs to meet specific requirements across a range of categories, from home decor to fashion and apparel and paper and packaging products.
