Hello! My name is Yuliia Bahniuk and I’m an illustrator and surface pattern designer from Ukraine currently living in India.
I’m passionate about creating patterns, and most of all I love to draw intricate, detailed patterns with a lot of elements. My pattern designs are mostly about nature – you can see a lot of animals, flowers, and birds in my works – it’s because I love birdwatching and nature in general and I like to show its beauty and spread awareness about it in my art.
Also, I love to add ornaments inspired by Ukrainian traditional art in my illustrations and like to draw in a folk style.
I mainly draw vector patterns in Adobe Illustrator, but sometimes I like to experiment and create hand-drawn or textured digital patterns.
