Tayla is an illustrator and motion designer based in South Africa. She blends traditional watercolour techniques with modern digital illustration, often with a hand-animated appeal. Her work focuses on character design and capturing a human-made feel. With a BA in graphic design from NWU, she works as a motion designer specialising in illustration. Tayla has created pieces for editorial, advertising, explainer videos, publishing and social content. Her clients include Xbox, GoDaddy and Penguin Random House.
When she isn’t working on client commissions, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her now family of three.
