Jo Jiménez is a Chilean artist and illustrator. Since 2014, she has been dedicated to the self-management of her art and design projects. In 2018, she created her own brand with the aim of democratizing access to art.
Always looking to get out of her creative comfort zone, Jo works independently and in collaboration with other brands, creating patterns and illustrations for product designs according to their requirements and needs for licensing. From fashion to public spaces, she has worked for Adidas, Farmrio, Danone, Ford, Dr Martens, Samsung, Tous, etc and recorded her own Domestika course in 2019, where she teaches how to mix embroidery and painting together.
Each project responds to this impulse for creativity, inspiration, celebration, and transformation of each space and day-to-day. Through the observation of flowers and plants as models of these works of art, Jo invites us to reflect on the source of inexhaustible inspiration that is nature and how close we can find it. It’s an invitation to dwell on the details.
Jo loves creating her patterns from acrylic and gouache paintings. Additionally, she works digitally in Procreate and is represented by Seminal since 2024.
