Hi there! I’m Seiko (pronounced say-co), an artist and surface pattern designer based in Pittsburgh, PA, USA. My design style is often described as whimsical and playful with a sprinkle of quirky charm. My joyful designs are a great match for cute baby and children’s fabrics and products. I naturally like to create gender-neutral designs in evergreen themes that have longevity. I enjoy a bright and cheerful color palette, but I also appreciate earthy and neutral tones that compliment the home.
My inspiration comes from my two boys and the adventures we embark on (both imaginary and real), right in our own backyard. These everyday moments spark endless inspiration for many of my collections. I love creating in collections because of this story-telling aspect. My hope is that my designs make you smile and feel so much joy.
