Hi, I’m Kate, an illustrator based in Edinburgh. I create atmospheric narratives and characters using analogue materials like paint, crayons and coloured pencils. My work is aimed at both children and adults and my favourite things to illustrate are nature, buildings, people and food! I often make work in response to my surroundings and emotions, but I also enjoy creating scenes completely from my imagination.
I work from my home studio surrounded by art materials and a big pin board of inspiring artwork and photos. My illustrations are well suited to publishing, editorial, and advertising projects, so please get in touch if you would like to discuss an idea or commission.
