Heather Miller is the surface designer behind H Miller Ink. She creates vibrant illustrations and patterns for products from her Detroit-based studio.
Heather graduated from the illustration department at the College for Creative Studies where she earned her bachelor’s degree. She fell in love with surface design finding it offered endless possibilities for her to share her art. Some of her favorite surface design markets include greeting cards, gifting, wrapping paper, home decor, and fabric. Her surface pattern designs are celebrated for their highly illustrative quality and noticeably hand-drawn motifs. Her pattern designs often include themes of nature, traveling, food, and characters, using bold color palettes to create her heartfelt art.
She has crafted a surface design portfolio with over 100 illustrations and patterns ready for product.
