Hello, I’m Elena Amo, an illustrator and pattern designer based in Houston, Texas. My journey into illustration and surface pattern design began after earning a degree in Interior Design. The passion for selecting fabrics and wallpapers sparked the idea of becoming a pattern designer.
While I maintain versatility in my pattern design, my greatest joy lies in creating sweet and colorful fabric collections tailored for the quilting industry and patterns designed for the children’s market.
Describing my work in three words, I would choose cute, playful, and detailed. Drawing inspiration from my childhood memories, I aim to evoke a sense of nostalgia and happiness in others through my designs, encouraging a connection with their joyful past.
