Claire Loon Baldwin is a Maine-based illustrator and designer specializing in watercolor and ink depictions of biodiverse botanicals, wild foraged foods, and landscapes. A former park ranger and environmental educator, she draws inspiration from the redwoods of California and the Grand Canyon. Claire merges traditional and digital media to create intricate illustrations of nature, and through her art, strives to inspire climate action and hope. She created Grand Canyon National Park’s centennial poster series in 2018 and has since worked with DK Publishing, Penguin Random House, and The Boston Globe.

She also teaches art and ecology workshops across Maine and is available for client work and representation.
