Catherine is a British illustrator and artist inspired by the natural world. She grew up in the Kent countryside, immersed in nature, spending many hours playing outdoors and observing wildlife through the seasons.
Her creative approach is to capture the joy of flora and fauna, and the atmosphere of a scene. Catherine’s artworks are hand-painted using traditional techniques through a variety of mediums, mainly working with gouache and watercolour.
Her love of colour and pattern are apparent in her work and developed whilst studying at Nottingham Trent University for a BA (Hons) degree in Decorative Arts followed by an MA in Textile Design. She went on to work as an in-house designer for a major greetings card company for 10 years and has been working freelance since 2017.
Catherine is available for art and illustration commissions and is represented by the Bright Agency for all licensing work.
