I’m Atlas, the licensing artist and surface designer behind Atlas Greene. I reside in the picturesque state of Michigan, where I love exploring nature and discovering ways to connect with it in a deeper way. After spending many years working in the corporate world, I chose to finally honor my calling to create art and share my wonder for the world through it. I create with the hope of bringing others a sense of self and home through my nature and culture-inspired designs.
In my portfolio, you’ll find a blend of surface patterns and mixed media art inspired by nature’s earthy hues in various styles from modern abstract to vintage. I create not merely by observing objects, but also through the connection I feel with the colors, shapes, emotions, and feelings of flow or balance that they evoke. My mission is to impart a sense of comfort and identity through art, whether manifested on walls, stationary, clothes, home decor, or any other form. As Aristotle once said, “The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance.” 一 That is what I hope shines true in my designs.
