Hi! I’m Anna Black, a Scottish surface designer based in Portugal. I specialise in crafting sophisticated, historically-inspired patterns, and my goal is to bring that timeless elegance into modern homes across the world. I particularly love to create complex patterns with sinuous, intertwined leaves and flowers, reminiscent of the Arts & Crafts style of 19th-century Europe. In terms of workflow, my designs are lovingly hand-drawn and composed on paper using traditional methods, before being finished digitally using the Adobe suite.
