Hi, I am Fiona (Fi) Powers, a freelance illustrator based in Bath, UK.
I have worked on many varied projects. Although much of my work has been for children’s books, I have recently enjoyed working on more editorial illustrations and relish the challenge of bringing an article to life with pictures, working closely with the client to achieve the best result to illustrate a piece of text.
I am heavily influenced by the simplicity of Scandinavian and mid-century art. I love strong bold colour combinations and often soften this style by incorporating hand painted and printed textures within my artwork.

I am an illustrator and motion designer based in London. I work in a broad range of markets. I particularly love creating book covers, surface patterns and gif animations. I like the added unexpected layer motion can give to an illustration. I mainly work digitally but recently have started adding traditional media to my repertoire. My interests are varied and my work reflects that. I am inspired by nature, dreams, magic, fashion, books, music and quirky everyday encounters.

I’m an illustrator and painter drawn to stories with a connection to nature and rugged landscapes. Inspired by vintage travel posters, I often work in traditional gouache when a deadline allows for it, but for efficiency of time and edits I also work digitally, combining gouache brushes and crisp shapes created with a lasso tool. To contrast the flat shapes in these techniques, I love to experiment in my sketchbook with mixed mediums, and I’m a sucker for any water soluble pencil or crayon that can give me maximum textures and techniques for minimum retail space in my pencil case.
This year in 2025, I’ve illustrated my first full spread book cover with a client I connected with at the London Book Fair, and the ideation process of collaging story elements into one image was a joyous mental puzzle. Seeing my artwork in a finished format as a book, another subject that’s always been close to my hear, has been a delight and the creation process and outcome of this project has really shown me the direction I want my portfolio to take.
Before my career in illustration, I was a rock climbing instructor. I still climb myself to this day, and the problem-solving and practical thinking from this hobby defiantly find their way into my creative process, not to mention the mountains and geological themes that pop up in my work time and time again!

Hello! I’m an illustrator, artist, and muralist working between Hong Kong and London. I use my art as a tool for both storytelling and advocacy, by weaving natural and nostalgic cultural motifs into symmetrical, modular compositions with hand-drawn typography. I’m drawn to nostalgia and collective memory as points of connection, using these ideas to spark conversations around resilience and togetherness for my projects.
As a survivor and advocate, my goal is always to move beyond surface-level communication by creating work that activates deeper connections, healing, and community building. My projects span commercial, publishing, editorial, and non-profit collaborations, all joined by my personal belief in illustration as a diverse space for play, reflection, and transformation. I also offer workshops and seminars as part of my activation work for communities to further engage with the art I’ve created, further injecting value in a client campaign or non profit projects. Notable clients include LUSH Cosmetics, HKUNHCR, Chronicle Books, Urban Outfitters and more.

I was born in Hong Kong and raised in Scarborough, Toronto. I try to put a little bit of myself into each piece. Being queer and growing up in an immigrant family, I find myself wanting to create work that is rooted in empathy. To encourage myself to be a braver person, I draw with bold colours and shapes. A lot of my art has some wit, because we all need a little bit of humour to get through this journey!

Hello! I’m Polina, an illustrator and art educator from Northern Germany. I’m a bit of a colour enthusiast, using it excessively in my drawings of my favourite things like food, faces, and film stills. I mainly create editorial work for magazines and books, having had the pleasure of working for the Financial Times, Dotdash Meredith, Éditions Flammarion, as well as indie magazines like Little White Lies and Mixology. Of course, I still have some projects on my bucket list, like creating a mural, a cookbook, or even a cute little hand-drawn video game.
My art is said to bring joy to viewers, which makes me happy in return. I’m deeply influenced by vintage printing techniques like silk screen and risography, and I love experimenting with overlaying colours and textures to create unique yet accessible culinary art and portraiture. Surprisingly, my fascination with folklore art also plays a big role in my style – an art form that has surrounded me since my childhood in Belarus.
In addition to illustrating, I also work as an art educator for children and adults at a caricature museum. I enjoy creating fun and educational workshop concepts, and working with people from all walks of life influences my artistic style.
Right now, I’m really invested in a personal project. My theatre group is about to perform Michael Ende’s “Neverending Story,“ and I designed the promotional materials and the animation used as stage design.

My name is Anne-Sophie, and I’m a freelance illustrator from Hamburg, Germany. Ialways loved drawing, but I really discovered my passion for illustration during my apprenticeship as a tailor and fashion designer in 2011. After that, I studied illustration in Hamburg and I’m now in my fourth year of freelancing.
My main focus is editorial and advertising illustration. I love the diversity this field offers and I’ve learned so much through working with many great art directors. My clients include META, Hamburger Abendblatt, The Guardian, and many more. This year, I was one of the chosen winners of the annual American Illustration AI44 and shortlisted for the 12th Hiiibrand Illustration Awards.
My illustrations are bold and playful, both in color and in character design. I especially enjoy drawing people, interacting with each other or simply going about their everyday chores. That’s why most of my personal and client work is character-driven, often with a dreamy and sometimes surreal touch.
I find inspiration in everyday situations: sitting in cafés or other public spaces with my sketchbook, observing and sketching people passing by. There is always so much to see and discover.
In my personal projects I try to incorporate my hobbies, interests and problems such as being on a vegan diet, food and cooking, being a pet owner of a rescue or my severe anxiety while still keeping a light and joyful atmosphere, even if the topics are heavy or problematic to me personally. Although I mostly work digitally, I also have a passion for fine art painting with acrylics and oil pastels on canvas. I enjoy challenging myself to be more patient with traditional painting and love how my digital style can translate into a more classic approach when working with brushes on canvas.

Hi! I’m Marie, a Franco-Belgian illustrator based in Berlin.

My sketchbook is where my visual ideas are born, and I create illustrations that take the time for reverie and resonance. I publish a series of horrie-gami books: those are art books in four spreads that you can fold and unfold, and that are great fun to create.
