My name is Sam Buttrick, and I’m a Portland, OR-based illustrator! I use both traditional and digital media to create a style that celebrates bright color, bold shapes, and unique characters.
I’m inspired by the natural world as well as the little everyday items that spark joy- coffee cups, flower vases, and food, to name a few. Although my work exists primarily digitally, it thrives in physical spaces. I love packaging design, printmaking, merchandise design, and even branding work.
I’m always excited to take on new projects and hope to one day branch into the realm of children’s book illustration!
