Hello! My name is Perla Bodden and I am a Surface Pattern Designer based in Los Angeles, CA. My inspiration comes from nature and textures found in everyday objects. My creative process includes sketching, watercolor and gouache painting, mono-printing, fabric and paper dyeing. I enjoy experimenting; my artwork combines analog and digital techniques.
My work can be described as feminine, playful, and botanically inspired. My patterns are available for licensing and I am also open to collaborations. I have experience working as an in-house textile artist.
