I’m Océane, a French surface pattern designer and writer based in London UK. I design under the brand name Papergraphie.
I started my illustration journey by designing stationery but quickly fell in love with the process of creating repeat patterns. Seeing a pattern come together before my eyes makes my heart sing. I love working with colours and textures in my patterns.
As well as pattern design, I write a publication called The Curious Magpie on Substack and I’m working on my 1st picture book which is a bilingual book (French and English) about a grapefruit and a ladybird returning colours to the world.
