I am a surface pattern designer and illustrator. I draw most of my inspiration from nature and the creatures that inhabit the forests around me. Living in Sweden can sometimes be dark and cold, but I appreciate how nature is always present and that each season brings dramatic changes and its own unique beauty. When spring arrives after a long dark winter, the snow is thawing and everything begins to sprout slowly and then suddenly bursts into bloom everywhere. That is my favorite time of year, and I’m always filled with new creativity.
Previously, I worked in-house for Swedish fashion brands such as Lindex and Gudrun Sjödén. Now, I freelance as a surface pattern designer and have collaborated with clients including Moda Fabrics, Rebel Walls, and Architectural Review.
