Hello! I am the artist, illustrator, and surface pattern designer behind Jillian Nichole Illustration. I am an Oregon native living in the beautiful state of Rhode Island.
I have loved drawing and painting since I was old enough to hold a crayon, but only in the last five years have I begun to pursue art as a full-on career.
I work mainly digitally with Procreate and Adobe Illustrator, but I am beginning to add more analogue methods to my workflow to give my work a more handmade and painterly look. My work is often described as intricately detailed, maximalist, ethereal, and magical. Nature is my eternal muse and you will find aspects of it in nearly every single pattern I create! My patterns are historically inspired and often vintage-tinted and I like to think the spirit of William Morris is whispering in my ear as I create.
