Hi there, I’m Jenn! I’m the surface pattern designer & illustrator behind my brand – The Intended Space. My original designs feature calming yet playful illustrations and patterns with an underlying softness. I often use muted and pastel colours with a mixture of earthy neutral tones, but occasionally, you may also find some playful and bright colours in my work. I imagine my designs fitted on children and in their rooms. From fabric, and home decor to stationary, producing arts and designs that can put smiles on their faces is my goal, and I am consistently testing this out on my kids.
My biggest source of inspiration is from my two children. I usually get lots of ideas when we read books together and their imagination is magical. It is always inspiring to see the differences between genders and what attracts them. You will normally find me either hiding in my little studio space in my house or in coffee shops in Hong Kong.
