Gabriela Araújo

I’m Gabriela and I’m an illustrator and animator from Portugal. I’ve got an uncontrollable impulse for strong colours, smiley faces, quick drawings, and goofy characters. Illustration is my therapist, as it allows me to put my life on paper and see it, literally, from above. I often use humour as a tool to connect with people and sometimes, to raise awareness. I love how images can create communities and get people talking, sharing, and even sometimes, changing their thoughts.
I create in all sizes, from tiny logos to street murals. That includes, for example, visual identity, editorial illustration, poster design, or small comics.
