My name is Carla and I am an illustrator and surface pattern designer in Geelong, Australia. I am hugely inspired by nature, particularly the unique flora and fauna native to Australia. Living on the coast means I am always surrounded by nature and draw inspiration from the beach, a bush walk, or even at the park with my kids. I’m also inspired by everyday life and love to create patterns that are joyful and fun. I have a background in graphic design and have always had a love for painting watercolours. My work is full of colour, life, and lots of organic texture and movement.
I have created illustrations for commercial clients as well as making and selling my own range of greeting cards, stationery, and children’s wall art.
