I’m Lou, a freelance illustrator based in Lyon, France, since 2023. I love illustrating everyday scenes, characters, colorful objects, and animals. I like to imagine that my illustrations can create joyful memories for grey days. That’s why I’m drawn to children’s illustration, but I love even more the idea of having my work resonate with adult audiences too, in the hope of making life feel a little less gloomy.
I mainly work digitally on an iPad, but I also love using gouache, pastels, and colored pencils.
