Hi! I’m Linn Warme, a pattern and print designer from Västerås, Sweden. Botanical motifs are at the heart of almost everything I make. Nature is my biggest inspiration, like the seasons changing here in Sweden, from lush green summers to cold, dark winters.
I studied textile art and textile design at university, then spent several years in-house designing prints for some of Sweden’s biggest fashion and swimwear brands. These days I work freelance, creating patterns and prints for brands around the world, for textiles, wallpaper, home textiles, and much more, including my latest fabric collections for Moda Fabrics.
No project is too big or too small, so if you have an idea, get in touch and let’s create something together.

My name is Lily Odette, I am an illustrator and pattern designer from the Netherlands. I work from my atelier in Haarlem, a city next to Amsterdam. My work is very decorative, hand made, vibrant and romantic. My inspiration comes from decorative arts, folk art and nature. I am specialized in hand painted floral patterns and I make prints for all sorts of brands. From fashion to wallpaper, from paper wrapping to ceramics and homewear. Recently I started designing for a textile company that produces waxblock prints for the West-African market, which is very challenging and interesting. Being able to design patterns for a living is a dream come true. It’s something I am very passionate about and enjoy every day.

I’m a surface designer, muralist, and painter based in Vancouver, Canada. I started my studio, LEMONNI, in 2013 with the idea of bringing happiness into the home through whimsical prints and colour. Over the past decade, I have collaborated with international brands such as LG, Crate & Kids, and Debenhams. My artwork has been used across a wide range of products, from home décor and textiles to children’s clothing and accessories. In recent years, I have expanded my practice into murals and fine art.

Hi, I’m Elena. Somewhere between dreaming of becoming a ballerina, studying Interior Design, and learning children’s book illustration on my own, I became a surface pattern designer.
I create fun, colorful, and playful designs for fabrics and the kids’ industry. I love working on collections, and each one feels a little different because I enjoy experimenting with colors and moods. The biggest joy for me is creating cute characters that bring a little storytelling into every pattern. My main focus is quilting fabrics, and I create fabric collections for Moda Fabrics.
One of my favorite things about being a surface pattern designer is thinking about all the ideas I haven’t created yet, like animals, objects, themes, and playful little worlds. It’s exciting to imagine how they could come to life on children’s clothing, bedding, stationery, wallpaper, and other fun products.
Other than drawing, my other big passion is rock climbing, both indoor and outdoor, which I love doing with my family.

I’m Jasmine Hnatkova, a surface pattern designer and educator living in Worcestershire, UK. I love to create textured, nature inspired prints and enjoy seeing my work come alive on fabric, wallpaper, clothing and stationery. I work exclusively in Procreate and love its ability to replicate traditional artisanal techniques such as block printing.
Alongside the licensing strand of my business, I also have an educational side. Through my blog, YouTube channel and online classes, I help Procreate artists develop their creative skills and grow with confidence in the surface pattern design industry.

Marusha Belle
Illustrator, Surface Pattern Designer, & Children’s Book Author based in Portugal

I’m an illustrator, surface pattern designer, and children’s book author based in Portugal.
After earning my Master’s degree in Fashion Design, I built an international art career creating artwork for licensing, publishing, and consumer products. Over the past decade, I’ve worked with clients around the world, including TJX, Hallmark, HarperCollins, and many others.
What excites me most is bringing stories to life through vibrant, joyful art. Whether I’m creating a retail-ready pattern collection, writing and illustrating a children’s story that makes kids and parents laugh, or sketching ideas inspired by my dog Luca, I’m always looking for ways to create work that feels meaningful, playful, full of personality, and valuable to my clients.
My background combines commercial illustration, entrepreneurship, and storytelling, which means I enjoy both the creative and strategic sides of the industry.
I am currently represented as a licensing artist by Pink Light Studio and as a children’s book author and illustrator by James McGowan at BookEnds Literary.
When I’m not drawing, you’ll usually find me walking by the ocean, running, brainstorming new ideas while wandering through a park, playing the ukulele, sketching in a cozy café with friends, or going on adventures with Luca.

Hi, I’m Sarah Daugherty, often found online as SarahDCreates. I’m a lifelong creative with an
inherent need to make things. As a college graphic design intern, I was always doodling
patterns while waiting for my old Power Mac to finish thinking or restarting; it was suggested that
I should be a pattern designer some day…
Today, amid the busy years of raising my children, I’ve responded to that calling and found a particular love for designing patterns for textiles. I believe art on everyday items can spark joy
and remind us of beauty amid the mundane.
My patterns are inspired by gardens, botanicals, historical styles, and the textures and
imperfections found in traditional art. I most enjoy creating complex patterns that tell a story, but
also enjoy the challenge of saying more with less.
I design for fabric, wallpaper, kitchen textiles, home decor, and more with the goal of making our
spaces feel beautiful, personal, and joyful.

I am a surface pattern designer and illustrator based in the UK, but originally from Germany. My visual language is heavily inspired the natural world and art styles such as the Arts and Crafts movement and British Romanticism of the 19th century. Botanical elements feature in most of my designs and in addition to celebrating flora and fauna, I like to add texture and depth to my work. Tactility is very important to me, which often leads to very complex and detailed designs. I love the creation process, and as I work digitally, Photoshop and Procreate are my canvas and I spend hours adding layers upon layers. I will never tire of seeing my designs printed on fabric or wallpaper, and knowing that my work bring joy to people is just the best feeling.

I’m Gemma, a Textile & Surface Pattern Designer based in Cornwall, UK.
I specialise in creating hand-painted artworks and patterns, in particular for Homewares, Stationery and Giftware. My work is often deeply rooted in inspiration from my surroundings and travel experiences.
From an early age I have been inspired by botanicals, architecture and different cultures. My designs are brought to life with the use of colour, pattern and texture, and being hand-painted they are each unique.
I create brand focussed and/or trend-inspired designs, which can evolve from collaborating on ideas or being provided with a clear brief to create final designs.
Whether you are a new independent brand or a large retailer, and need help in creating artworks, or full manufacturing specs, my many years experience in the industry has enabled me to work with a variety of clients across the world.
Working from my home studio on Commissions, the GLD Pattern Library – a source for ready to use Exclusive designs, and GLD Digital – a store for smaller brands to be able to license hand-painted artworks for their products. I love the variety each day and project brings.
If you are interested in Collaborations, Commissions or Licensing, I would love to hear from you to have a chat about how we can work together to make something fun and beautiful!

I’m a Latvian Australian surface pattern designer based in sunny Cairns, where bold colour, tropical light, and my multicultural background all shape the way I create. My work is rooted in intuition — I love letting hand‑drawn marks, playful shapes, and unexpected colour combinations guide me toward patterns that feel joyful, warm, and full of character.
My heritage and the landscapes around me both play a big role in my process. I’m drawn to traditional motifs, natural textures, and the small visual stories found in everyday life, and I enjoy blending these influences into contemporary designs that celebrate diversity, kindness, and a sense of fun. Whether I’m designing for fashion, home décor, or personal collections, I aim to create patterns that make people smile and feel connected.
I’m always open to collaborations, licensing opportunities, and creative partnerships — and I love sharing my journey with anyone who enjoys colour, pattern, and a bit of whimsy.
